Authorship and Research Integrity Policy

Khidmatuna: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to responsible authorship, transparency of scholarly contributions, and the integrity of published research.

Authorship and Contributions

Authorship must reflect substantial intellectual contributions to the study, including its conception, methodology, investigation, analysis, or interpretation, together with meaningful participation in manuscript preparation or critical revision. All authors must approve the final manuscript and accept accountability for its integrity.

The journal encourages transparent author contribution statements using the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT). Individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria should be appropriately acknowledged.

Gift authorship, ghost authorship, and the sale or purchase of authorship are prohibited. Changes to authorship after submission require a justified request and documented agreement from all affected authors.

Research Integrity

Authors must ensure the originality, accuracy, and reliability of their research and community-based interventions. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, misrepresentation of findings, and unethical research practices are prohibited.

Research involving human participants or community partners must comply with applicable ethical requirements, including informed consent, confidentiality, and responsible data management. Funding sources and potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

Handling Research Misconduct

Suspected violations are assessed through a fair and confidential editorial process. Authors will be given an opportunity to respond, and relevant institutions may be consulted when necessary.

Depending on the findings, editorial actions may include manuscript rejection, publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or retraction in accordance with recognized publication ethics standards.
