Publication Ethics

Khidmatuna: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical scholarly publishing. Its editorial practices are guided by the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and internationally recognized standards of publication ethics.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must submit original, accurate, and unpublished scholarly work. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, and misleading reporting are prohibited. Authors are responsible for proper citation, research ethics, disclosure of funding and conflicts of interest, and the accuracy of their manuscripts.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors evaluate manuscripts fairly and independently based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and methodological quality. Editorial decisions must remain free from commercial, institutional, or personal influence. Editors must protect manuscript confidentiality and appropriately manage potential conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments based on their academic expertise. Manuscripts under review are confidential and must not be disclosed, exploited, or used for personal advantage. Reviewers must declare conflicts of interest and decline assignments where impartiality cannot be maintained.

Research Integrity and Post-Publication Actions

Khidmatuna investigates allegations of research or publication misconduct through fair and documented editorial procedures. When necessary, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with recognized publication ethics guidance.

The journal also provides mechanisms for complaints and appeals. All editorial decisions remain independent of publication fees or other financial considerations.

Additional requirements concerning artificial intelligence, authorship, plagiarism screening, and publication corrections are governed by the journal's respective editorial policies.
