  1. Bidayatuna: Journal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyahwas first published in April 2018 by the Lembaga Penelitian, Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat at the Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin, Indonesia. and it is issued biannually, in April and October.
  2. Bidayatuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah was officially registered with the Print ISSN (p-ISSN: 2621-2153) on Thursday, May 31, 2018, with its first registered issue published as Vol. 2, No. 1, in June 2018. Subsequently, the journal obtained its Electronic ISSN (e-ISSN: 2715-0232) on Thursday, December 5, 2019, with the first issue under this registration published as Vol. 3, No. 1, in April 2020. Bidayatuna is published biannually, with issues released in April and October.

Between 2018 and 2022, Bidayatuna Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah held a SINTA 4 accreditation status as recognized by Indonesia’s National Journal Accreditation System (ARJUNA), under the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. In April 2021, beginning with Vol. 4 No. 1, the journal adopted a revised article template to better meet evolving academic and publication standards. This template, featuring a footnote citation style, remained in use through Vol. 7 No. 2 (October 2024).
  4. In Vol. 6 No. 1 (April 2023), Bidayatuna underwent a re-accreditation process for the SINTA program. However, based on the evaluation results, the journal was assigned a SINTA 5 accreditation status.
  5. In Vol. 8 No. 1 (April 2025), Bidayatuna undertook a significant quality improvement initiative by redesigning the journal cover and adopting a fresher, more refined article template. These changes aim to enhance consistency across publications and strengthen collaborative partnerships with peer reviewers and editorial teams. Furthermore, one of the major changes implemented was the transition from a footnote citation style to a body note system using the APA Style 17th edition. The journal also introduced stricter article selection criteria, applying higher academic standards to ensure the publication of more selective and high-quality research articles.
