Abstract

Research on the Influence of Group Counseling Services with Behavior Chart Techniques on the Learning Discipline of Class VIII C Students at SMPN 1 Sumberbaru, with 7 out of 28 students as respondents selected through purposive sampling. The method used in this research is a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test to determine the results of the dependent variable before and after treatment. Based on the research results, a Negative Rank or negative difference in learning discipline for the pretest and posttest is obtained, both in terms of N, Mean Rank, and Sum Rank. This value of 0 indicates no decrease in the pretest to posttest scores. Positive Rank or the difference between the learning discipline results for the pretest and posttest. There are 7 positive data (N), which means that all 7 students experienced an improvement in their study discipline. The Mean Rank or average improvement is 4.00, while the sum of ranks or sum of Rank is 28.00. Ties refer to the similarity in pretest and posttest scores, here the value of Ties is 0, so it can be said that there are no identical scores between the pretest and posttest. Thus, the conclusion based on the Wilcoxon test results is that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) is valued at 0.018. With this result, the value of 0.018 is less than 0.05. In other words, the null hypothesis (ho) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that group guidance using the behavior chart technique has an influence on the learning discipline of eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Sumberbaru.
