This article discusses the mentoring activities of the team from the Syarifuddin Lumajang Islamic Institute at the Ibnu Fathullah Islamic Boarding School, Kudus Village, Klakah District, Lumajang. The topics presented to the students were about a number of communication strategies. This is necessary because they are prospective kiai langgar or religious leaders in society. In principle, they are a place to ask questions about Islamic religious matters for the local community. This mentoring uses the service learning method by interacting directly with the students. The hope is that insight transfer activities can be carried out comprehensively. The students were given an understanding of things about kiai breaking and about communication patterns that can be used when a kiai meets the community. From this mentoring activity, it can be ascertained that the students at the Ibnu Fathullah Islamic Boarding School have the potential to become good langgar kiai in Lumajang. Assistance for Islamic students, in any aspect related to their preparation to become channels for Islamic da'wah, is a fundamental agenda.
